Fourth ranked Arak (17-9) beat at home 5th ranked Azad (15-11) by 15 points 83-68, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Arak. Azad was better in second period 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Arak won last quarter 26-13. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Azad's 22. The winners were led by Croatian power forward Zvonko Buljan (206-87, college: TCU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and international center Asghar Kardoust (212-86) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Even 10 points and 8 rebounds by international power forward Rouzbeh Arghavan (214-88) did not help to save the game for Azad. The former international M. Reza Akbari (196-86) added 12 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Arak maintains fourth position with 17-9 record. Azad lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 11 games lost.
