Second Stage Round 6: Lobas - Koping 60-67

Very expected game in Lomma where 5th ranked Lobas (7-7) were defeated by first ranked Koping (12-2) 67-60 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-12. But Lobas won second period 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Robertino Duric (192-92) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Kevin Grant (191-94) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jesper Wennerholm (188-96) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Filip Lindstrom (193-96) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Lobas' coach Jorgen Lillieholm let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Koping have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Koping maintains first position in BEHS forts with 12-2 record. Lobas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Koping will face Huddinge (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Lobas will play against the league's second-placed Helsingborg and hope to win that game.
