Semi-Finals Game 1: Al Gharafa - Al Sadd 66-73

Al Sadd upset Al Gharafa to surge ahead in the series. Al Gharafa was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 42-28 second half run of Al Sadd. They outrebounded Al Gharafa 42-31 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Italian point guard Anthony Raffa (185-89, college: Co.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Ivorian-French center Mohamed Kone (211-81, college: Valparaiso) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian-American power forward Manny Adako (203-87, college: Northeastern, agency: Court Side) answered with 25 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Al Gharafa.
