The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked MZT Skopje (15-2) on the court of sixth ranked Rabotnicki on Tuesday night. Visitors were edged by Rabotnicki 74-71. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of MZT Skopje. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The former international forward Dime Tasovski (200-80) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian Marko Lukovic (207-92, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian power forward Danilo Mijatovic (207-83) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. MZT Skopje's coach Aleksandar Joncevski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rabotnicki maintains sixth place with 7-10 record. Defending champion MZT Skopje still keeps top position with two games lost. Rabotnicki are looking forward to face higher ranked Feni Industries (#4) in Kavadarci in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MZT Skopje will play at home against Kozuv and is hoping to win this game.
