Regular Season Round 20: Saigon H. - Pilipinas Agilas 84-79

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Filipino Pilipinas Agilas (2-16) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Vietnamese Saigon Heat (8-10) 84-79 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-79. Worth to mention a great performance of American Lenny Daniel (203-87, college: CS Northridge) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 25 rebounds and American-Thailand Moses Morgan (198, college: CS Fullerton) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Swingman Jason Deutchman (198-86, college: San Diego St.) responded with 26 points and 7 rebounds and American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Pilipinas Agilas players scored in double figures. Saigon Heat maintains fourth position with 8-10 record. Pilipinas Agilas lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. Saigon Heat are looking forward to face league's second-placed Singapore Slingers on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Pilipinas Agilas will play against the league's leader KL Dragons (#1) in Kuala Lumpur and are hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
