Quarter-Finals Round 2: Liaoning H. - Zhejiang CB 138-105

Liaoning proved too good for Zhejiang and registerd the second straight victory in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Liaoning Hunters. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank was better in fourth quarter 34-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Liaoning Hunters dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's 70. They outrebounded Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank 48-33 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Liaoning Hunters players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's players. American forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 30 points and 8 assists for the winners. American forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and guard Qian Wu (190-94) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Five Liaoning Hunters and four Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
