No shocking result in a game when third ranked BK Opava (19-10) defeated at home 5th ranked USK Praha (13-16) 66-60 on Wednesday. USK Praha was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 21-11 charge of BK Opava, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for the former international guard Jakub Sirina (186-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 assists. Forward Jakub Blazek (203-80) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Bosnian power forward Igor Josipovic (205-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Michal Mares (192-92) scored 10 points. BK Opava maintains third place with 19-10 record having three points less than leader BK Decin. Loser USK Praha dropped to the seventh position with 16 games lost. BK Opava will meet NH Ostrava (#6) on the road in the next round. USK Praha will play against the league's second-placed Prostejov and hope to secure a win.
