Regular Season Round 31: BK Kolin - Prostejov 84-56

The game between second ranked Prostejov (22-7) and sixth ranked BK Kolin (14-15) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Prostejov was crushed by BK Kolin in Kolin 84-56. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Prostejov. The game was mostly controlled by BK Kolin. Prostejov managed to win fourth quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BK Kolin looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Prostejov's players. Montenegrin Bojan Bakic (195-83) fired 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Lee Skinner (198-92, college: Wofford) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four BK Kolin players scored in double figures. BK Kolin's coach Predrag Benacek felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Lukas Palyza (202-89) produced 12 points and American forward Brett Roseboro (208-91, college: UMBC, agency: HMS) added 10 points respectively for lost side. BK Kolin moved-up to fifth place. Prostejov at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. BK Kolin are looking forward to face bottom-ranked MMCITE Brno (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Prostejov will play against USK Praha (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
