Quarter-Finals Round 2: Xinjiang FT - Beijing Ducks 104-101

Xinjiang held off Beijing for the second straight victory in the quarterfinal series. Beijing Ducks were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Xinjiang Flying Tige dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Beijing Ducks' 30. They outrebounded Beijing Ducks 50-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. 32 personal fouls committed by Beijing Ducks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 5 assists. International center Qi Zhou (217-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Stephon Marbury (188-77, college: Georgia Tech) produced 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige and five Beijing Ducks players scored in double figures.
