Quarter-Finals Round 3: Beijing Ducks - Xinjiang FT 117-99

Beijing stayed alive in the quarterfinal series. The Ducks outgunned Xinjiang to cut the deficit at 1-2. The game without a history. Beijing Ducks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.8 percent from the field and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Beijing Ducks especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Stephon Marbury (188-77, college: Georgia Tech) who scored 37 points (!!!) and 6 assists. His fellow American import power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) chipped in 28 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) who recorded 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and American guard Bryce Cotton (183-92, college: Providence) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four Beijing Ducks and five Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Xinjiang Flying Tige's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
