Regular Season Round 19: La Fecha - Easo 48-62

No shocking result in a game in Arroyo Encomienda where fifth ranked Easo (11-4) defeated 13th ranked La Fecha (3-12) 62-48 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Easo. La Fecha was better in second period 18-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Inigo Del Valle (188-87) fired 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Center Manex Eizmendi (200-92) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Arturo Sarmiento (193-94, agency: Dynamics Global Management) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard Janes Casimiro (190-92) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Easo moved-up to fourth place in Group A-A, which they share with Ardoi. Newly promoted La Fecha dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Easo will face Cantbasket (#6) in Santander in the next round. La Fecha will play on the road against Zarautz (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
