Regular Season Round 19: Fubon Braves - KKL 69-60

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked KKL's (4-19) loss to sixth ranked Fubon Braves (9-13) 60-69 on Saturday. Fubon Braves took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KKL won third quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. Guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) helped adding 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side American center Kyle Barone (208-89, college: Idaho) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and international swingman Wei-Ju Chien (185-92) scored 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Fubon Braves maintains sixth place with 9-13 record. KKL lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 19 games lost. Fubon Braves will meet league's leader Pure Youth in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KKL will play against Yulon Luxgen (#4) and hope to secure a win.
