Regular Season Round 32: Prostejov - USK Praha 65-69

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Prostejov (22-8) against seventh ranked USK Praha (14-16) on Saturday night. Host Prostejov was defeated by USK Praha in a tough game in Prostejov 65-69. Prostejov was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 21-11 third quarter run of USK Praha. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Lukas Festr (185-94) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and forward Jiri Slavik (203-89) who added 16 points during the contest. American forward Brett Roseboro (208-91, college: UMBC, agency: HMS) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and international forward Lukas Palyza (202-89) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Prostejov's coach Zbynek Choleva rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. USK Praha maintains seventh position with 14-16 record. Prostejov at the other side keeps the second place with eight games lost. USK Praha will play against higher ranked NH Ostrava (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Prostejov will play against MMCITE Brno (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
