We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Medias where CS Dinamo Bucuresti (11-12) was defeated by Gaz Metan (3-20) 84-78 on Saturday. The game without a history. Gaz Metan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Gaz Metan outrebounded CS Dinamo Bucuresti 41-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. The former international center Ionut Dragusin (221-85) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian point guard Gediminas Navickas (180-84) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Four Gaz Metan players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Serbian guard Marko Sutalo (194-83, agency: PEPI SPORT) produced 27 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: Beo Basket) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Gaz Metan will face BC Timisoara (#11) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
