Second Stage Round 7: Hogsbo - KFUM Central 69-59

Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked KFUM Central (2-7) lost to fourth ranked Hogsbo (6-3) in Goteborg 59-69 on Sunday. The game without a history. Hogsbo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Hogsbo forced 25 KFUM Central turnovers. Quite impressive performance for American forward R.J. Slawson (206-92, college: Jacksonville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Lucas Brehm (-91) contributed with 17 points and 4 steals for the winners. Hogsbo's coach Jonas Fredrikson used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Stephen Aluko answered with 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Simon Alvring (191-82) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Central. Newly promoted Hogsbo maintains fourth place in Superettan with 6-3 record. KFUM Central at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Hogsbo will face league's leader Solna Branten at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KFUM Central will play against IK Eos (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
