Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Socar Petkim and 13th ranked Meliksah had identical 8-13 record. This time Socar Petkim used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Kayseri 81-65. The game without a history. Socar Petkim led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Meliksah's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Josh Selby (188-91, college: Kansas, agency: Ali Guney BA) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists. Bosnian power forward Kenan Bajramovic (206-81) contributed with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Socar Petkim players scored in double figures. Forward Orcun Okkali (201-87) replied with 10 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Bulut Altin (188-93, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points in the effort for Meliksah. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Socar Petkim (9-13) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Meliksah lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Socar Petkim will play against Akhisar Bld (#11) on the road in the next round. Meliksah will play against the league's second-placed Acibadem having rather not much hope for a victory.
