Regular Season Round 33: USK Praha - NH Ostrava 67-64 OT

USK Praha (15-16) outlasted NH Ostrava (14-16) in overtime by three points 67-64 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of NH Ostrava. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 13-10. But NH Ostrava won second period 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where NH Ostrava used huge pressure winning it 17-15 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 10-13. Swingman Michal Mares (192-92) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and Bosnian power forward Igor Josipovic (205-88) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92, agency: Two Points) with 19 points and the former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. USK Praha moved-up to sixth place. NH Ostrava at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 16 games lost. USK Praha will face BK Usti nad Labem (#9) at home in the next round. NH Ostrava will play against the league's second-placed Prostejov and hope to win that game.
