Guaros secured a confident victory at the start of their semifinal stage campaign. They fired past Correcaminos in Barquisimeto in the opener. Damien Wilkins nailed 18 points to lead the Venezuelan team. Guaros dominated from start to finish. The hosts accumulated a 58:37 halftime lead. Guaros unleashed 50 points in the second half and cruised to the victory. Jose Martinez chipped in 15 points in the win. Reginald Larry and Trevor Gaskins responded with 14 points apiece for Correcaminos.
