There was no surprise when 13th ranked Andratx (3-17) was outleveled by third ranked Sant Adria (15-5) in Sant Adria de Besos 79-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sant Adria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Andratx's 26. Sant Adria forced 20 Andratx turnovers. Forward Mireia Vila (183-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Regeneracom Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Center Olga Ruano (191-88, agency: Regeneracom Sports) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Sant Adria's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Neus Amengual (-95) replied with 18 points and 7 steals and guard Esther Morillo (169-79) added 15 points in the effort for Andratx. Sant Adria maintains third position in Group B with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader Alcobendas. Andratx lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 17 games lost.
