Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Iwate Big Bulls (20-15) beat on the road 10th ranked Aomori Watts (15-22) 65-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Iwate Big Bulls. Aomori Watts was better in third quarter 23-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
