Regular Season Round 2: Quebradillas - Aguada 93-82

The biggest surprise of round 2 in BSN took place in Quebradillas where host Piratas (3-0) beat Santeros (1-1) 93-82 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 48-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Piratas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Brian Conklin (198-89, college: St.Louis) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Elias Ayuso (190-77, college: USC, agency: Paris Global Sports) chipped in 27 points. American forward Chane Behanan (198-92, college: Louisville) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Gabriel Belardo (188-89, college: FIU) added 23 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Santeros will play next round against Atleticos trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Piratas will try to continue on its current victory against Vaqueros in Bayamon.
