Al Rayyan outgunned Al Sadd to take the lead in the Finals. The game without a history. Al Rayyan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Tanguy Ngombo (197-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Dominic James (180-86, college: Marquette) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Al Rayyan players scored in double figures. Ivorian-French center Mohamed Kone (211-81, college: Valparaiso) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 19 rebounds and American-Italian point guard Anthony Raffa (185-89, college: Co.Carolina) added 13 points and 4 steals in the effort for Al Sadd.
