Semi-Finals Game 1: JX-Eneos S. - Denso Iris 71-56

JX-Eneos got to the winning start of the semifinal series. They edged Denso Iris in the opener. The game was mostly controlled by JX-Eneos S.. Denso Iris was better in third quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Denso Iris' 32. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (191-91) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international forward Yuka Mamiya (185-90) accounted for 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four JX-Eneos S. players scored in double figures. JX-Eneos S.'s coach Kiyomi Sato allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and international center Sakura Akaho (182-96) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Denso Iris in the defeat.
