Semi-Finals Game 2: Sichuan BW - Xinjiang FT 96-93 OT

Sichuan used overtime to take down Xinjiang for 2-0 lead in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Xinjiang Flying Tige won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Xinjiang Flying Tige used huge pressure winning it 21-15 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 7-10. Sichuan BW dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Xinjiang Flying Tige's 42. They outrebounded Xinjiang Flying Tige 57-39 including 17 on the offensive glass. Xinjiang Flying Tige was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) who had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 21 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field). American Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice) chipped in a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds. International forward Gen Li (196-88) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) added 13 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks respectively for the guests. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures.
