Fujitsu outgunned Chanson to force the decisive third game in the semifinal series. Chanson V-M was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 19-11 charge of Fujitsu RW, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Chanson V-M to just 6 points in third quarter. The former international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and international point guard Rui Machida (161-93) supported her with 17 points and 4 steals. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by international forward Sanae Motokawa (175-92) did not help to save the game for Chanson V-M.
