Regular Season Round 19: Infiz Basket - Dynamo 85-95

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kyiv: Dynamo (#3) and Infiz Basket (#9). Infiz Basket was defeated at home 85-95 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-85. Dynamo looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for international guard Oleksandr Lypovyy (200-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. The former international Artur Drozdov (199-80, agency: Comsport) helped adding 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Dynamo players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Andriy Lebedintsev (184-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and forward Anton Dziuba (204-95) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Newly promoted Dynamo maintains third place with 20-8 record having just one point less than leader SC Kryvbas. Infiz Basket lost their fourth game in a row. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Dynamo will face Zaporizhya (#6) in Zaporozhye in the next round. Infiz Basket will play on the road against the league's leader SC Kryvbas in Kryvyi Rih and hope to win that game.
