Rather predictable result when thirteenth ranked Sokol Pisek (10-10) beat at home 15th ranked Havirov (7-13) 90-82 on Friday. Center Dalibor Fait (203-93) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) chipped in 26 points and 4 assists. Sokol Pisek's coach Miroslav Janovsky used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Guard Michal Palat (194-90) produced 24 points and 8 rebounds and guard Lukas Bukovjan (168) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Four Sokol Pisek and five Havirov players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Sokol Pisek maintains thirteenth position in Places 13-20 with 10-10 record. Havirov at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifteenth place with 13 games lost. Sokol Pisek will face Vysocina (#14) in Jihlava in the next round. Havirov will play at home against Basket Kosice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
