Rather predictable result when third ranked BK Opava (22-12) defeated at home 5th ranked BK Kolin (17-16) 76-64. The game without a history. BK Opava led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for the former international guard Jakub Sirina (186-87) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Center Viktor Cvek (200-89) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. BK Opava's coach Petr Czudek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Lee Skinner (198-92, college: Wofford) replied with 14 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Showron Glover (180-87) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for BK Kolin. Five BK Opava and four BK Kolin players scored in double figures. BK Opava maintains third position with 22-12 record having just two points less than leader BK Decin. BK Kolin at the other side keeps the fifth place with 16 games lost. BK Opava's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked MMCITE Brno (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game. BK Kolin will play against USK Praha (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
