There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Nafta-Uni. (15-19) beat 8th ranked Petrochema (16-18) in Klaipeda 84-75. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-16 Petrochema's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 84-75 at the end of the game. Petrochema was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Raidas Nacius (196-91) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and forward Rytis Biliartas (200-91) chipped in 6 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (185-85) with 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Karolis Sarukas (198-95) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Petrochema's coach Kestutis Narusevicius rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Nafta-Uni. maintains tenth place with 15-19 record. Petrochema at the other side keeps the eighth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Silute. Nafta-Uni. will play against bottom-ranked Lietkabelis-2 (#14) in Panevezys in the next round. Petrochema will have a break next round.
