Second Stage Round 9: KFUM Uppsala - Talje 54-62

There was a surprise result when eighth ranked Talje Knights (2-9) defeated on the road 4th placed KFUM Uppsala (7-5) 62-54 on Saturday. KFUM Uppsala was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was Dimitris Agathangelidis who scored 15 points and 4 steals. Adam Karahmetovic chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds. Talje Knights' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Tobias Skyttevall (196-95) who recorded 11 points and 9 rebounds and Alan Zekovic added 8 points and 5 assists respectively. Talje Knights maintains eighth place in Superettan with 2-9 record. Loser KFUM Uppsala keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Talje Knights will face league's second-placed Hogsbo in Goteborg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KFUM Uppsala will play on the road against LF Future in Lulea and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
