An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Klaipeda. Third ranked Neptunas faced one of their biggest challengers Vytautas. Host Neptunas (15-12) defeated guests from Prienai (14-13) 70-58. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vytautas. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-58. Neptunas dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Vytautas' 26. Neptunas forced 21 Vytautas turnovers. American power forward Jerai Grant (203-89, college: Clemson) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Martynas Mazeika (192-85, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. Neptunas' coach Dainius Adomaitis used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Neptunas have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-12 record having nine points less than leader Zalgiris. Vytautas at the other side keeps the fourth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Juventus. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
