Semi-Finals Game 2: Townsville - SEQ 91-71

Townsville recorded a comfortable victory over SEQ and punched their Grand Final ticket. The game without a history. Townsville Fire led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Townsville Fire outrebounded SEQ 46-35 including 31 on the defensive glass. The former international center Suzy Batkovic-Brown (195-80) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Cayla George (192-89) chipped in 11 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. American forward Jordan Hooper (188-92, college: Nebraska) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian-American Ify Ibekwe (187-89, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
