Regular Season Round 28: Biofarm PZN - GTK Gliwice 61-64

A very interesting game took place in Poznan. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 14th ranked Biofarm PZN (8-20) to fifteenth ranked GTK Gliwice (8-20) 64-61 in the fight for the thirteenth place. It was a very good performance for power forward Wojciech Fras (203-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Center Lukasz Paul (205-89, agency: Promotex) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) replied with 12 points and 4 assists and forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Biofarm PZN. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. GTK Gliwice have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Biofarm PZN. Biofarm PZN lost third consecutive game. GTK Gliwice's next round opponent will be higher ranked Znicz Basket (#5) in Pruszkow and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
