Valmiera eked out a narrow win over Pieno Zvaigzdes to complete the sweep of the quarterfinal series. Arturs Berzins knocked down 17 points to lead the winners. Pieno Zvaigzdes accumulated a 43:39 halftime lead. Valmiera however turned things around in the second half. The hosts erased the deficit to snatch a one-point lead heading into the fourth frame. Valmiera held their opponents to just 17 points in the final stanza and raced to the win. Martins Laksa chipped in 15 points for the winners. Andriy Agafonov responded with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Pieno Zvaigzdes.
