Not a big story in a game in Keratsiniou where 4th ranked Promitheas (13-6) was outplayed by first ranked Faros (16-3) 82-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Faros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Emmanouil Papamakarios (192-80) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. Point guard Marios Batis (190-80) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Faros players scored in double figures. Forward Sokratis Manavopoulos (205-81) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and guard Nikos Pettas (195-81) added 16 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Faros maintains first position with 16-3 record, which they share with Kymis. Promitheas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Faros will face Doxa Pefkon (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
