Kotwica cruised past Koscian for the first win in the series. Kotwica shot 21 for 32 from the free-throw line, while Koscian only scored four points from the stripe. Kotwica forced 19 Koscian turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for Grzegorz Arabas (191-78, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 steals. Power forward Pawel Kowalczuk (207-80, college: St.Francis, NY, agency: Promotex) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Pawel Ciazkowski (190-86) answered with 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Emil Rau (188-97) added 16 points in the effort for Koscian. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
