Regular Season Round 28: KTP II - HNMKY U23 93-87

No shocking result in a game in Kotka where ninth ranked KTP II (14-14) won against 13th ranked HNMKY U23 (7-21) 93-87 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. HNMKY U23 was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 33-22 charge of KTP II, which allowed them to win the game. HNMKY U23 was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Mikael Aalto (204-94) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 9 rebounds and forward Tomi Lommi (193-96) who added 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four KTP II players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Tuure Takala (185-93) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and center Eemil Raisanen (202-97) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. HNMKY U23's coach Henrik Pulkkinen rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. KTP II moved-up to eighth place in Division. HNMKY U23 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with 21 games lost.
