Very important is a road loss of second ranked Atomeromu (18-6) against fourteenth ranked Marso NYKK (5-19) on Saturday night. Visiting Atomeromu was crushed by Marso NYKK in Nyiregyhazi 92-69. The game without a history. Marso NYKK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian power forward Zoran Krstanovic (204-82, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Marcus Ware (203-91, college: Niagara) who added 18 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Marso NYKK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Troy Barnies (200-89, college: Maine) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and international power forward Adam Toth (206-89) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Atomeromu's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Marso NYKK moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Atomeromu keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with ZTE KK. Marso NYKK will meet higher ranked Alba (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Atomeromu will play against the league's second-placed ZTE KK where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
