Regular Season Round 38: Prostejov - BK Pardubice 69-79

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Prostejov (24-11) against fourth ranked BK Pardubice (22-14) on Saturday night. Host Prostejov was defeated by BK Pardubice in Prostejov 79-69. It looked good early as Prostejov took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then BK Pardubice had a 20-13 second period charge getting the lead and Prostejov was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-79. American guard Lamb Autrey (190-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international Kamil Svrdlik (205-86, college: Fair Dickinson) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. International forward Lukas Palyza (202-89) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and center Jan Tomanec (205-85) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five BK Pardubice and four Prostejov players scored in double figures. BK Pardubice maintains fourth position with 22-14 record. Prostejov lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with 11 games lost. BK Pardubice will play against Basketbal Svitavy (#8) on the road in the next round. Prostejov will play against BK Lions Hradec (#10) in J.Hradec and hopes to get back on the winning track.
