Regular Season Round 20: Feni Industries - Karpos Sokoli 88-76

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Karpos Sokoli (15-5) against fourth ranked Feni Industries (12-8) on Sunday night. Visiting Karpos Sokoli was defeated by Feni Industries in Kavadarci 88-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Karpos Sokoli. It looked good early as Karpos Sokoli took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Feni Industries had a 26-15 second period charge getting the lead and Karpos Sokoli was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-88. Feni Industries players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by the former international power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89) supported him with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Feni Industries players scored in double figures. Even 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Karpos Sokoli. American guard Michael Snaer (196-89, college: Florida St.) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Feni Industries maintains fourth position with 12-8 record. Karpos Sokoli at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. Feni Industries will play against Strumica (#7) in Strumica in the next round. Karpos Sokoli's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje MZT Skopje.
