Second Stage Round 10: Koping - Trelleborg 68-82

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Koping (16-4) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by second ranked Trelleborg (14-6) 82-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Koping. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in BEHS forts. The game was mostly controlled by Trelleborg. Koping managed to win fourth quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trelleborg forced 19 Koping turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian power forward Tadas Kvederavicius (200-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) contributed with 27 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Tefik Zekaj replied with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Kevin Grant (191-94) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for Koping. Trelleborg have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position in BEHS forts with 14-6 record having just nine point less than leader Solna Branten. Newly promoted Koping still keeps top place with four games lost. Trelleborg are looking forward to face Huddinge (#6) at home in the next round. Koping will play against Boras II (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
