Naft Abadan outscored Chemidor to gain 3-1 lead in the semifinal series. Naft Abadan forced 26 Chemidor turnovers. Strangely Chemidor outrebounded Naft Abadan 57-39 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Chemidor helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
