Regular Season Round 39: MMCITE Brno - NH Ostrava 78-76

A very close game took place in Brno between MMCITE Brno and NH Ostrava. Eleventh ranked MMCITE Brno (10-26) got a very close home victory over higher ranked NH Ostrava (16-20). MMCITE Brno managed to escape with a 2-point win 78-76 on Wednesday evening. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MMCITE Brno have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place. Loser NH Ostrava keeps the seventh position with 20 games lost. MMCITE Brno will meet higher ranked BK Usti nad Labem (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. NH Ostrava will play against CEZ Nymburk and hope to secure a win.
