Semi-Finals Game 1: Tsmoki-Minsk - RGUOR 62-44

Tsmoki-Minsk held off RGUOR to open win count in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Tsmoki-Minsk. RGUOR managed to win third quarter 9-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tsmoki-Minsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tsmoki-Minsk made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian power forward Giedre Paugaite (193-90) who helped to win the game recording 17 points. International point guard Volha Ziuzkova (172-83) contributed with 8 points and 5 assists for the winners. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Andrey Vavleu used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Ana Zuborenko (186-1) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Hanna Lapo (188-97) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for RGUOR.
