Second Stage Round 6: Opava B - Sokol Prazky 83-81

The most exciting game of round 6 in the 1Liga took place in Opava. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best Sokol Prazky (6-4) to sixth ranked B&W Opava B (4-6) 83-81 on Friday evening. B&W Opava B forced 20 Sokol Prazky turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Power forward Jiri Dihel (198-87) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Vitezslav Branda (189-87) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Stepan Brix (201-94) with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Yannick Habily (182-94) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five B&W Opava B and four Sokol Prazky players scored in double figures. B&W Opava B moved-up to third place in Places 1-6. Sokol Prazky at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
