Njardvik toppled Stjarnan to take the lead in the Dominos League quarterfinals. Stjarnan was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 16-9 charge of Njardvik, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Haukur Palsson (197-92, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Jeremy Atkinson (193-90, college: NC-Asheville) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Al'Lonzo Coleman (201-89, college: Presbyterian) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds and the former international point guard Justin Shouse (181-81, college: Mercyhurst) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Stjarnan.
