An interesting game took place in Klaipeda where 8th ranked Nafta-Uni. (17-20) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Delikatesas (16-21) 84-76 on Friday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Nafta-Uni.. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 32-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Delikatesas forced 21 Nafta-Uni. turnovers. Nafta-Uni. was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) stepped up and scored 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Mantas Kadzevicius (194-91) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side center Deividas Keburys (202-90) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Erikas Kubilius (191-95) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Delikatesas. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Silute. Loser Nafta-Uni. keeps the eighth position with 20 games lost. Delikatesas will face Silute (#10) at home in the next round.
