Second Stage Round 6: Vysocina - Kara Trutnov 92-50

There was no surprise in Jihlava where 19th ranked Kara Trutnov (5-17) was outplayed by fourteenth ranked Vysocina (9-13) 92-50 on Friday. Vysocina dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kara Trutnov's 28. They outrebounded Kara Trutnov 56-33 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Pavel Ciha (201-92) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and O Manak chipped in 22 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Vysocina's coach Petr Pesout felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Jan Malik (198-85) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Richard Musel (208-96) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Vysocina maintains fourteenth position in Places 13-20 with 9-13 record, which they share with Havirov. Loser Kara Trutnov keeps the nineteenth place with 17 games lost. Vysocina will face BK Kondori Liberec (#17) on the road in the next round. Kara Trutnov will play against Havirov and hope to win that game.
