Very important is a home loss of third ranked Pardubice (4-6) against sixth ranked GBA Sparta (4-6) on Friday night. Host Pardubice was defeated by GBA Sparta in a tough game in Pardubice 83-87. GBA Sparta made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Martin Hruby (192-87) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Spanish swingman Diamond Onwuka (201-97) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five GBA Sparta players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Martin Roub (203-97) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Michal Hanus (172-97) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. GBA Sparta moved-up to fifth place in Places 7-12. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
