Regular Season Round 40: NH Ostrava - CEZ Nymburk 60-76

We should mention about the upset which took place in Ostrava, where 7th ranked NH Ostrava (16-22) lost at home to tenth ranked CEZ Nymburk (10-1) 60-76. The game was mostly controlled by CEZ Nymburk. NH Ostrava was better in fourth quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban swingman Howard Sant-Roos (200-91) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. American point guard Chasson Randle (187-93, college: Stanford) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Five CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. The former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) replied with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Vojtech Bratcenkov (198-91) added 12 points in the effort for NH Ostrava. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CEZ Nymburk have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains tenth position with 10-1 record. NH Ostrava lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 22 games lost. CEZ Nymburk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NH Ostrava will play on the road against the league's leader BK Decin (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
